CRA is an active member of CoRBA- Melbourne – which represents 14 community resident and business groups in the City of Melbourne.
CoRBA meets monthly at the Town Hall. CRA is represented by Jackie Watts and Greta Bird but anyone interested in issues of concern or impacting across the entire municipality is welcome to join the CRA CoRBA Reference Group by contacting Jackie Watts : Jackiewatts@netspace.net.au
The primary CoRBA goal is to bring democracy , equitable representation and good governance back to the City of Melbourne by communicating to all Residents and Ratepayers within the municipality that there is an urgent need for substantial reform of the structure governing the City of Melbourne Council, and its election processes.
Continuing to pressure the Melbourne City Council and the State Government of Victoria to undertake an independent, objective review of the structure of City of Melbourne Council.
CoRBA is also concerned about other major issues in our city, including Planning, Safety, Transport, Sustainability and Parklands.
