In September, the Growing CRA Reference Group was established to find better ways of engaging people
which would involve them working in the Reference Groups and taking up financial membership. Its report
circulated to the Committee in December will be considered in 2010.

A support group aimed at increasing participation in the workings of CRA by inviting people from all walks of life with varying degrees of commitment to become involved and have their voices heard. People who can’t speak for themselves need someone to help give them a voice. Decision makers who are not listening need someone who can get their attention.   

All people with an interest in Carlton’s well being can choose the subject they are interested in and get in touch with the appropriate Reference Group or start a new one. These newcomers will not want for advice and inspiration derived from CRA’s 40 years of experience as a highly successful and respected community action organisation, skilled in communication and advocacy.
