CARLTON GARDENS AND ROYAL EXHIBITION BUILDING
A heritage consultant is to be involved to ensure that works for the Flower and Garden show are carried out with minimal impact.

TRAFFIC TRANSPORT AND PARKING
East-West link
The feasibility report on the Doncaster rail line is not yet publicly released. Impacts of an East-West road link on Carlton, Parkville and Royal Park are unclear at this stage. There is concern to ensure that expenditure of public money on major infrastructure is open and transparent.

JIMMY WATSON’S WINE BAR
The Watson family has managed a wine bar on the same site in Lygon Street Carlton since 1935 and is still drawing a crowd. Alan Watson recieved an OAM in the New Year’s honour list for 2013.
